Colour Pale amber. Tasting notes, undiluted Nose Sweet, malt aromas with green apples and cut grass. A delicate spiciness with traces of chocolate and hazelnuts. Palate Sweet with an initial smoky note. Some herbal and oak flavours present. With water Nose More perfumed notes present, treacle and cinnamon aromas develop. Palate Leafy and herbal gorse and hay flavours, charred oak and a little toffee sweetness. Body Smooth. Finish Spicy with hints of oak. Cask Type Refill Sherry hogsheads. Style A smooth, balanced whisky displaying a full range of flavours.
