Brown rum distilled from molasses. Blend of fine aged rums aged in used whisky and bourbon barrels. Blended to honour Admiral Rodney, this rum has a light clean taste with a a slight oak flavour in a very nice decanter. The dry smoky flavour of this rum has improved since it was originally introduced. IWSC describes this award winner as, Bright amber colour. Incredibly attractive nose packed with complexity that carries through to the honey rich palate as well as hints of bourbon oak and a rich vanilla and caramel character. Rich and full with exceptionally long finish...Stunning rum.
