This expression has been bottled at 46% abv to retain the whiskys39 unique and natural characteristics and subtlety of taste and by not chill filtering this whisky, it ensures that the aromatic components in the whisky are preserved to enhance presence and flavour. Colour Deep amber. Nose Pleasant with distinctive Sherry influence. Round, sweet and raisiny with suggestions of vanilla and cream. Palate Sweet with some spice and generous hints of vanilla, toffee, fudge, raisins, chocolate and candied peel. Good complexity. Finish Ample and powerful.
